The Character The original Digimon was a virtual pet created by Bandai of Japan in June of 1997. The Digimon virtual pet needs to be cared for like a real pet, and can battle with other Digimon by linking the two units together. Records of wins and losses are stored. Over time and with proper care, the Digimon pet will grow up and evolve into other, more powerful Digimon. After the success of this toy, Digimon got it's own animated TV series.

into the ultimate champion! Coliseum Command The Digivice iC is based on the Digivice used in Digimon Savers. Unlike previous Digivice toys, the Digivice iC is not quest-based. Instead, it is a v-pet. The Digivice iC can link to battle with the Accelerator, Mini, and other iC’s. It can also link to the Digimon Battle Terminal, a Japan-only arcade game.
